Ballet 5:8 presents Family Saturdays
Join Ballet 5:8 for a special performance that is perfect for the entire family.
You’re invited to attend a Family Saturdays performance this November featuring artists of the Ballet 5:8 Second Company and Trainee Program, plus special guests from the Ballet 5:8 Professional Company. This hour-long performance is tons of fun and features a range of dance styles and something for everyone, including choreography by Ballet 5:8 Artistic Director Julianna Rubio Slager and Ballet 5:8 Lead Artist Brette Benedict. You’ll be encouraged by the hope in Mo(u)rning and Turn the Tide, want to dance along to the jazzy Mercy, and enjoy dazzling classical ballet in Haste the Day and the pas de deux from Diamonds by George Balanchine.
Seating is socially-distanced and utilizes specially-designed seating pods to allow household groups to sit together. Masks are required for all patrons for the duration of the performance.
Tickets are just $10 while space remains!
Ballet 5:8 performances are made possible in part by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
